Other Services

Beyond our core on-farm services, AgKnowledge provides independent, science-based advice across a range of soil, nutrient and environmental management areas. Our team works with farmers, Regional Councils and other organisations, drawing on decades of practical experience across New Zealand’s diverse agricultural systems.

Independent expertise in soil, nutrients and land management

AgKnowledge 2024 Ltd (previously AgKnowledge Ltd) has been providing farmers, and others in the agricultural sector, with independent advice relating to soils and fertiliser for over 20 years. AgKnowledge was originally established by Dr Doug Edmeades in 2002, to bring independent, science-based advice to those farming and managing land.

AgKnowledge’s team are experts in soil fertility across New Zealand’s diverse farm systems. A key strength is the ability to draw on the specialist skills and experience of individual team members in areas such as hill country farming, piggery effluent management, dairy factory wastewater, and soil and effluent sampling.

This collaborative approach ensures practical, science-based solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
